The questions from the book of Revelation form the backbone of this stirring anthem which artfully blends quotes of Worthy Is the Lamb (from Handel’s Messiah) and the modern worship song by Andrew Peterson: “Is He worthy of all blessing and honor and glory? He is!”
The powerful musical setting is highly effect for both Advent (“Do you feel the world is broken? Do you feel the shadows deepen? We do.”) and Lent/Easter. Scored for SATB chorus, optional one or two soloists, and piano, with optional string quartet and percussion or full orchestra.
