2023

JAN 27-28 — Workshop with Carolina Voices and Queens University, Charlotte, NC.

FEB 13 — Festival performance of LUX SSAA version at Morningside Presbyterian, Atlanta, 7:30 PM with Dan accompanying, including Vox Anima London, USC Women’s Choir, Mercer University Women’s Choir, Morningside Presbyterian, and others.

FEB 22-25 — National ACDA Conference, Cincinnati. (Accompanying various performances including National SSAA Honor Choir Ubi Caritas and Music in Worship Lord of the Small and Psalm 147; leading panel discussion/interest session about publishing in 2023; co-hosting Irish Traditional Session with Charles Anthony Silvestri; exhibiting at Composer Fair.)

MARCH 16,18 — Hosting/performing with Staley High School and Tracy Resseguie (including newly commissioned piece, “let me listen” at Furman University’s Daniel Chapel the evening of March 16 and at Mitchell Road Presbyterian Church (choral concert evening of March 18).

APRIL 1-3 — In residence at with Manhattan Concert Productions for performance of Jubilate Deo and other works (TBD) conducted by Pearl Shangkuan in Carnegie Hall.

APRIL 13-15 — In residence at with Choirs of America/Harmony Productions for performance of Jubilate Deo and other works (TBD) conducted by Craig Hella Johnson in Alice Tully Hall, Lincoln Center.

MAY 5-7 — Church Weekend at First Presbyterian Church Spartanburg (SC).

JUNE 4 — In residence for Jubilate Deo performance with orchestra, 4:00PM (Hilton Waikoloa Village) Hawai’i Island, Kona Choral Society & Friends, Susan McCreary Duprey, Artistic Director/Conductor.

JUNE 11 — In residence for Jubilate Deo performance with orchestra, 4:00PM Historic Kawaiaha’o Church, O’ahu, Windward Choral Society & Friends, Susan McCreary Duprey, Artistic Director/Conductor.

JUNE 8-9 — Pearl Shangkuan conducting Ubi Caritas at the Basilica of Assisi and the Vatican, Italy. (Dan not in attendance).

JUNE 12 — Requiem for the Living performance in Carnegie Hall, Dr. Jennaya Robison conducting with Manhattan Concert Productions. (Dan not in attendance).

JUNE 21 — In residence with Vox Anima London, Dr. Jamie Meaders conducting LUX in Southwark Cathedral.

JUNE 25 — Requiem for the Living performance in Carnegie Hall, Dr. Warren Cook conducting with Mid-America Productions. (Dan not in attendance).

JULY 10-14 — Hosting John Ness Beck Foundation Choral Composers’ Workshop, Greenville, SC.

AUGUST 25-26 — In residence for Restore Hope event at Asbury UMC, Tulsa, OK.

OCTOBER 3-6 — In residence at Brigham Young University, Provo, UT.

NOVEMBER 4-5 — In residence for Premiere of new major work with Wayne Oratorio Society, Philadelphia.

EARLY DECEMBER  — In residence in Wheaton, IL, for Advent/Christmas concerts

JUNE 9-23 — Voices of Faith choral tour of the Holy Land (Israel and Palestine) with Dr. Pearl Shangkuan and Music Celebrations International.
