Commissioned for premiere by the Greenville Chorale and Symphony (in Dan’s current city of residence), St. Patrick’s Hymn is a setting of one of St. Patrick’s prayers from the 5th century. May be performed with piano (organ may also support), or with original wind ensemble accompaniment (as heard in audio file above), or with full orchestral accompaniment (as seen in video above).

May the strength of God pilot us,
May the wisdom of God instruct us,
May the hand of God protect us,
May the word of God direct us.
